Have too agree. They should have done like in Jedi Fallen Order where only cosmetics get carried over. Codex entries, enemies entries, powers and stances should not carry over.
I preferred to start a normal new game on GM dificulty since you still get the extra lightsaber colors and the 3 new perks. Much more fun like this.
