No damage taken or given since changing saber colour.

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PlayStation 5
Summarize your bug Melee combat is completely unresponsive. Melee doesn't effect enemies and melee from enemies doesn't effect me.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I changed my lighsaber colour from blue to cyan at Ramblers Reach. I was using the dual stance and then jumped down via the rope and engaged in combat. That's when I first noticed the bug. It continued when I moved into other areas so I restarted the game, and the bug persisted. I'm playing on normal difficulty.
What happens when the bug occurs? I'm unable to progress because enemies can't be dealt with.
What do you expect to see? To deal damage properly and to have damage dealt properly. All was fine up until now.

I'm unable to deal any damage, or receive any consistently while engaging in combat. Only ranged explosives seem to work. This is persists even after restarting the game with any enemy type. Bullets and hits phase through me and my blade hits don't register on enemies.

    I found something that fixed it for me! I could not do any damage on Jedha, was stuck near the spaceship just before Cere's Archive. I could not open the door by moving the ball with the force. Also i could not do damage on the training dummy.

    WEIRD FIX: open map and there should be a marker on a very weird place (mine was in the middle of nowhere). Try to delete it / place new ones and delete them. After that go to the galaxy map. This fixed it for me!

    EDIT: Try placing beacons using the binocular and then go to map and "remove all". There could be some markers on the map you cant hover on to delete. This solves it.

    I have the same problem. I can't deal damage and I also don't take any damage. The problem appeared after jumping off the rock (25% of game progress) (Xbox Series X )

    @K_Man95 I’m having the same problem on Jedha and Jedha only. The other planets it works fine. I think my Jedha planet is just broken, I can’t even get out of the veiled hanger as Cal when I travel there as well.

    I have the exact same problem and I'm stuck in the gameplay. Tried a few things but nothing worked.

    is the developer still going to do anything about this? I ran into this symptom too on Koboh. difference is that I tried to explore the observatory area before the main quest "confront Dagan" and died on cliff once. Then everything started to break. I am unable to pick up anything, damage or be damaged by enemies, no doors can open, it's as if I become a transparent shadow. this only happens in Koboh but now there is no way to proceed the story. 

    This is a severe game breaking bug with no workarounds

    This happened to me too. It is still an issue. How have they not fixed this? It seems to be happening whenever you use fidelity mode. That sucks. It means you can only play the game from start to finish on performance and never use the fidelity mode. With the horrible for artifacts and no ray tracing GI I don’t know man.

    Hi, did you manage to fix this anyhow? I also stomped into this issue but I really don't want to restart the game (speciialy because it might as well happen again..)
