I'm experiencing this as well. When it happens, it coincides with several other problems.
- Cannot D-pad down to select BD-1 abilities
- Blaster charged shot doesn't work
- Right stick no longer cycles between lock-on targets
This is fixed by quitting the game and then restarting, but it eventually reoccurs.
Very annoying.
