[OPEN] Game Crashing on Koboh (PC)

So, as the title says, my game keeps crashing on Koboh....I'm at the first meditation point and off to the right on a small cliff is a chest, I try to open the chest and my game freezes, music still ...

Hi everyone,

The teams are aware of the reports and are investigating the issue.

Question:

When the game crashes, does it give the Unreal Engine error message screen, mentioning something like "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION", "DX12", and "DEVICE_HUNG" or "DEVICE_REMOVED"?

If that is the case, could you please open a Windows Terminal window with Administrator Rights and type "sfc /scannow" (without quotation marks) and check if Windows can find any damaged files and repair them?

If we have any updates, we hope to be able to share them with you as soon as possible.

In the meantime, it is recommended that you take a look at this.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You probably cannot as your developer PCs will be able to load the birds properly. Here is where I had issues: Very first part of Gorge Crash Site, where the birds sit up on the ledge where you can grapple hook to and collect a chest Exit of the first little cave in Gorge Crash Site, cannot slip through the crack in the rocks at the end of the cave because it triggers a cutscene causing birds to spawn, freezing the game Getting into southern reach was also near impossible because it triggers a bunch of birds to spawn overhead.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game freezes, audio continues to play, I have to close Survivor through task manager as no button inputs or even alt+tab or alt+f4 do anything.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to load the game properly and actually make any progress.

For me, I was consistently crashing at the very start of Koboh in the Gorge Crash Site. there are 2 birds sitting up on those little platforms where you have to use the grappling hook to get a chest with a BD-1 customization. If those birds get scared away, the game freezes. Same with exiting the little cave in gorge crash site where you fight the 4 droids and the bedlam raider. I could not exit the cave through the little crack at the end because it loaded a cutscene where birds flew away, freezing the game. Then, if you make it past that, which i managed to do just entirely by luck, you get to the southern reach where it plays another cutscene of cal overlooking the scenery. This freezes the game because a bunch of birds spawn overhead. Then, if you make it past that, which i managed to do by dumb luck again, it freezes at the meditation point in the southern reach little town area. My game is currently hard locked because as soon as the game loads at the meditation point, a ton of birds spawn it and freeze the game instantaneously. This is absolutely gamebreaking and needs to be fixed immediately.
