Please try to disconnect every USB peripheral from your system, except your Keyboard / Mouse & controller, and check if you're still unable to press any buttons.

I have the same problem. My Xbox controller only works to a limited extent. The analog sticks all work, but none of the front and upper buttons function. Is a patch announced for this today?
