Re: Game takes double disk space when patching or repairing

I rented Star Wars Jedi Survivor game for 1 month with an EA Play Pro subscription, and despite the game's optimization issues, I continued to play and tried to enjoy it. The system requirements stated that 155GB of free space was enough to play the game, and my disk had a total of 223GB. I had to delete many things just to play the game, but now you have released an update that requires an additional 155GB of space, which is a complete disaster. Are you kidding me? What should I do now? If I delete the game and try to reinstall it, it takes 15 hours to download. You are acting without thinking about the people, and this has shown how bad of a company you are. You can be sure that I will never choose this platform again.

    This is a big problem for me, too.

    When trying to download the update, it states i need 116 GB free disk space. 

    Thisbmeans  i would have to delete the game, and probably lose all game progress made. 


    Not only the file size being this large, but also not recognizing the already installed file is not acceptable.

    my issue is that the game has updated and now is installing and its saying it will take 8 hours to install less than 2GB? i have plenty of space? i've spent days wasted with EA pass and This is a known issue for almost a month and yet with the newest update its still a problem. There are thousands of employees and no one has fixed this issue yet?  Do the people on these forums have the ablilty to fix this or even have direct contact with the people who can fix this? If not then this is a poorly ran company. I knew i should have just used steam instead. Every time i use anything else on pc its a issue. An at least with Steam they hear the customers and fix issues.

    @HypnogajI know what you feel, I have the same issue even after 1 years later ea didn't fix this. I really hate ea launcher, it's a buggy mess, I don't even want to buy games from ea again at this point.
