@GabrielleFaraway  Thanks for sharing that information.  The game isn't actually malware, as I'm sure you know, and Avast is known to be somewhat aggressive with other games as well.  (It's had a problem with Sims 4, on and off, for 2.5 years.)  Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if the game included some automatic usage sharing.  It's also possible that one or more of the optimization improvements in the recent patches is more invasive than standard, in an attempt to make the game more stable, although that's just speculation.

At any rate, I'm sure Avast will fix the problem on its end soon enough.  If you're worried about usage sharing, put the EA App in offline mode before launching JS.  But be aware that that might block achievements as well.

    @puzzlezaddict I never had problems with Avast - let alone noticing it would have the slightest impact on any of my games (and I have a lot). But I take this into consideration. Thank you for the info!
