I found the solution!
I used a trainer that unlocked the "Developer Debug Menu" option that allowed me to load the backup save, after that I have Rayvis present and that I beat without bug!

Where did you find the trainer? The only ones I can find want me to pay them to use them, which I refuse to do. I’m stuck on this part as well.
You can also use the trainer to go back to the backup save then instantly go back to the most recent one, just did that and the fight worked.
