I think I found the way out. It took me hours and hours and I almost started over. I originally was stuck after the rayvis & dagan gera cutscene. I guess I went the wrong way and went down the elevator. This is where I couldn’t get back.
go through the tube area where you originally walked in to load the cutscene. You should drop down where the elevator would be. There is a door you can jump up to, go through it, press interact on the green box. The door will appear white, wait there. It will take a bit but you have successfully called the elevator down. Once you enter the elevator it will take you up, depending on the way your character is facing the door will open. One side is to a box that you have already probably lifted and smashed. If you walk out that way, you will have to ride the elevator back down, this time face the opposite direction, I saw a video on YouTube that you should be spamming the jump button. I did this on the way back up, facing the door/side you want to exit that has the meditation point. You should be able to exit and reach the meditation point. It is extremely frustrating that it is so easy to get locked / trapped. Save at
the meditation point. Walk around slowly and you should be able to load the next cutscene / story progression. Hope this helps. I was going crazy trying to find my way up. Got a lot of skill points at least.
