IDK why they made the interface entirely unusable via mouse, but this gets the job done at least.

Good to know it accepts mouse inputs atleast... hadn't even tested that.
However that's not the current issue. The problem is one can't remap user interface keys... Especially those with handicap can depend on these specific keys.

It's not about binding mouse keys... I mentioned the mouse, because they bound the arrow keys to the user interface for instance, whilst you could easily go through the menu with a mouse. As you always have - on pc. 
Why? Do that? It suggest to me that it has been ported.

That's the entire problem. "User interface" keys are unalterable.
