screen is orange

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug Screen is nothing but orange and yellow pixels
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just open the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? The "Fallen Order" recap starts okay, as well as the selection of game settings, but the very moment the first cut scene starts, the glitch takes over. It looks like my screen is on fire, with bright orange and yellow pixels and squares everywhere. They will sometimes trail with the animation, but it none of the screen displays the correct colors at all. I tried skipping through the cut scene to see if it was just that, but the gameplay is nothing different. I really want to play this game, but I don't even know if EA is aware of this particular bug, so who knows when this will be patched
What do you expect to see? The correct colors on the game, minus the pixels everywhere

I haven’t been able to find anyone else with this problem, except one Reddit post. Here’s the link to the post.

  • Hey, @jbslyker

I'm not much of an XBOX guy, but I'm wondering if your system is completely up to date.

Also, you might try reseeding your video cable on both ends - maybe even try a different cable.

I remember having some weird color issue when the game first came out that I believe was related to my HDR settings.

  • I'm also having this problem on PC, I've set everything for preformance. it might have to do with the graphics driver, but I know things are different on console, leaving my remark here so then it can be addressed.

    SPECS:
    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) 7 150U 1.80 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)

Ok so I tried that now and I got nothing from it from what I could see. I'm thinking it might have to do with the brightness, because when I go to set it up- you know how the game asks you to move the brightness bar arround until you can barely see the Jedi symbol, well even on the lowest setting I can still see the symbol pretty clearly. I've also attached the DxDiag report if you want to see it for yourself.
