Severe Audio Stuttering - Jedi Survivor

After the new patch on Xbox Series X, it seems that there is a massive issue with audio cutting out and stuttering. This is to the extent that the game is difficult to play. I played it over the summer without issue but now when I want to replay it, it is very difficult to do so

  • @Pandithsm1 im pretty sure it’s because of the speaker inside of the controller because when I looked at my sound bar and clicked to see where the audio was coming out of it said controller and if you have a headset it’s trying to connect to all three sound devices the controller, your headset and your monitor/TV
  •  I can't believe this hasn't been fixed, especially now it is on EA Play/Gamepass. The sound stuttering, does indeed make it virtually unplayable. I've found with headphones that using DTS instead of Dolby or Windows Sonic gives the least stuttering. But it really should be fixed.

Edit: actually, thanks to @purralator that trick of installing it onto the internal storage rather than expansion card fixed the problem completely! Cheers dude 🙂

  • Yes I have had the same issue and the game is un-playable as the audio stutters constantly. It gets worse it seems when other NPCs are in area or when in combat. Issue persists on headset or TV, doesn’t make a difference. I’ve tried everything mentioned in this thread and  issue persists. What I didn’t realize is this issue has been going on since before the game came to game pass. Good to know NOT to purchase EA games as it seems they don’t care to fix a game breaking problem on one of their AAA games. They should not be allowed to make Star Wars games.
