Alright I give up...
I'm uninstalling the game completely and reinstalling it through the EA App... Speeds are at 110 mbps.
ive cleared the app cache and this happens everytime
I'm experiencing the common problem of not being able to download Jedi Survivor's updates as it requires another 130 gb. At it's release it asked me to update and I just went ahead and reinstalled the entire game and that seemed to fix the problem. Today I got an other update and I read what some alternate solutions were provided here and it was just to have the amount storage free and it'll return it when done. I did exactly that and now it says that it's finalizing the update or uploading it and it's stuck at 67% and gives me constant errors.
This might not be Jedi Survivor specific, but with a game that size it becomes a really annoying problem:
The download issues might be just the server being overrun. That happens I guess. But after the download finally finished it spend about...
... 30min applying the patch and...
... another 30min for verifying to 55% where it is now writing this.
Meanwhile my son's game was already patched and ready to play an hour ago because he was smart and bought it on Steam.
Again, I'm not talking about the download issues. Applying and verifying happens on my machine. And it takes forever. And it's not my hardware.
Update ask me for another 131 GB, i tried it, and patch is stuck forever, so i uninstalled and somehow reinstalling is only 120 GB 🙂
Reinstall the whole game is the only solution that worked

Reinstalling the game should not be the solution. This is unacceptable from such a large publisher.
If you're stuck on "Applying update..." just bite the bullet and wait. Don't clear your cache. Don't pause it and/or reopen EA Play Pro. I tried it all and it doesn't work. And you'll just have to restart the entire process from 0%
Sucks but all you can do apparently is wait. Unless you have an insanely fast download speed, in which case it may just be quicker to reinstall the game
I've been trying to download the May 1st Patch on Jedi Survivor for 9 hours. Update finally complete.
I just realized I spent less than 5 hours playing this game and 18 hours downloading it. I won't re-download it for the third time until I'm sure they release a patch that will fix the game. So far I had poor performance and freezing during the gameplay.
Why does this game - and only this game - take FOREVER to download, to patch, to 'verify'.
This is not a pc space issue. This is not an internet speed issue.
Everything else works as normal but Jedi Survivor requires HOURS. I have played less time than I have waited for it to very very very very very very slowly download.
I did try to clear cache as it says that's what you need to do for slow download. It's still slow. Verifying at 30% after 4 hours... maybe by tomorrow it will be done. Unless they decide I need to download something else and take another day to do it!
I simply do not understand WHY it's so slow.
Any suggestions on how to speed it up? - Much appreciated!!!
