    @ectpuoi have the exact same issue, i manged to disable perfomance mode right before it started to freeze, this seems to help and made it a bit further, but im unable to reach the the next meditation spot... so still stuck

    update: with perfomance mode disabled i managed to make it to the next med point, but jumping the final gap took about 8 tries, he would just die mid air.

    Final update: the game froze again at the cut seen, restarting the game at this point took me back to the med point but the issue did not return after this and i could proceed the game.

After completing the initial portion of the drill mission on Jedha (getting back into the temple), I died. Upon dying and respawning at the beginning of the sequence, the drill does not seem to move at all. As I make my way through the platforming, on this seemingly broken run, my game audio cuts out and starts going crazy, and it’s followed by a freeze for around 10-15 seconds. Game’s fine for a couple more seconds but then continues to do this throughout the mission and makes it impossible to complete. Has anyone who experienced figured out a temporary solution? Can't fast travel anywhere for as it's a scripted story moment as well. Most of the time the game will crash back to the PS5 home screen and throw the error code CE-108255-1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't even progress any further into the game.

Apparently it's a common bug, i've seen a lot of posts like this. 

i'm having the same issue even though i am in an earlier step of the mission: I have to bring the broken compass to Cordova but i can't fast travel and all the doors inside the Archive are locked.

There is no solution at the moment...let's hope they'll fix soon, i really don't want to start again and lose a 30h save
