Same issue here. Though for me, it started when I had to create a new windows profile. After fighting with windows with that for 2 hours and got it working, then tried to run Survivor, and it won't open. Just sits there with Steam thinking the game is running and a 'Stop' button, but there's no game running. Opens the EA app for a moment to launch, minimizes it, then nothing. Tried repair, reinstall of both game and EA app, no go.
Here's the real kicker: I rebooted and logged in to the old messed up windows profile I was replacing, and the game still works from there. Same files, same accounts, same everything. Obviously it's somehow locked to that windows profile. Any bets on EA DRM [removed]?

Same problem. Tried everything mentioned here. Game will not load. I did notice the EA app has disappeared. When I try to reinstall it. It won’t. Really aggravating game ran great until the 5/11 pc update
Same for me, would work occasionally prior to the 5/11 patch update after a few reboots and maybe I'd get lucky and it would then launch from the EA app but since the latest update nothing I've done has worked. When the game actually launched it worked, but nothing has loaded since the last update.
Same problem here. Bought it, tried a lot of things, regretted buying it, as it won't even launch.
Happened to me on new windows profile also, unfortunately I deleted my old profile so can't even go back to check it.
I have found a workaround.
Best Case:1. Start the EA App
2. If you see your games in your library all fine, you can start the game normal via Steam
Worst Case:1. Start the EA App
2. If there are no games in your EA App library, go to your Task Manager
3. Stop the task : EA Background Services
4. Start EA App again and your games will now appear in your library.
5. Start the game normal via Steam
Side Note:Keep the EA App open
I hope this will also help you.I tried with EA App launched as Admin, I tried launching the exe, I tried launching the exe as admin, I restarted the pc, did the same stuff, reinstalled+restarted and did the same stuff again. PLS someone help me, I don't even get an error report, the EA App just upens back up again
Same here, can't play the game.at all.
EA app appears and desappears within seconds, and also does Link2EA..... but the game never starts.......
Before de patch 7.5 it took me about half an hour of trying, but after the patch...... I haven`t managed to launch the game.....
I've tried to start it from the desktop link, from the Steam app and from the EA app. All with the same result.
Of course I've tried with "clear cache" at EA app, "verify files" in Steam app, the "clean boot" solution, the "new windows account" solution, and all the others I found out.
Absolutely frustating.....................
I'm having the same bloody problem. The only difference is I'm rocking an RTX 3070ti, Ryzen 9 5900x and 32gb of ram. This problem is NOT simply solved by a GPU upgrade. I've attempted to elevate to administrator, and that won't work either. I also own the Steam version, this is twice I've tried to buy this game and twice it's done this, the first time it at least would launch the splash screen....
