[Asking for information]
Hey Everyone,
If you are running into an issue with Steam Overlay or Controller input when playing Star Wars Jedi Survivor via Steam try the following first.
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- Steam - Verify in your library
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Close other running applications on your device
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
If the issue continues let us know the following...
- EA ID (PSN ID/Gamertag):
- Which client do you play from?:
- Are you getting an error message?
- How long are you playing until this happens?
- Is anything else happening?
- If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...
- If on PC, please share a DxDiag file and an EA app Error ID Number
We can use this information, to help make the team aware of the issue and to further investigate.
Cheers!
Yea, I'll just verify/repair the game I just spent one whole day sitting around waiting on, because for some reason the idea of not having a MASSIVE game is just unheard of over at EA. How about you provide actual fixes, instead of slewing out *, like it's the players faults? Or better yet, instead of releasing games on steam, because your games open up the EA App (not needed, has never been needed, it's absolutely insulting that this trash HAS to be on my PC to make these crap titles work) which is probably the "other running applications on your device" you were blabbering on and on about. But that's just me, personally. I think I'll go ask for my refund instead of trying to contend with this level of stupidity from a * video game.
