Stuck in Jedha.

 I'm on the mission to reach the Pilgrim's sanctuary. I reached a room with a Gorocco, but I can't hit it, and it can't hit me. I noticed Merrin could shoot and kill it, so I waited for her to do so. However, there should be an interaction where I press a button for the gate to fall, but it's not appearing at all. I returned to the Veiled Hangar and went to Koboh, hoping to fix the bug, but now I'm stuck in the Veiled Hangar. The sliding door won't open because I can't interact with the wall ball, and the elevator isn't working. I've played for 18 hours and am extremely frustrated, feeling cheated for investing time and money in a broken game.
