Sudden Stuttering and High Memory Usage

There was no client update in the past few days and those behaviors are generally from local PC/console config issues. In other words, it sounds like something changed on your rig rather than the game.

If you attach a DXDIAG report, someone may spot something causing your issues.

While I doubt it's causing your issue, you'll want to free up space on some of your drives. You should have at least 10% free space on your drives.

The beginning of the report calls out an unsigned driver (STXII.sys). By itself, an unsigned driver isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, I suggest looking into it, just to be sure.

The Diagnostics section of the report is where I see the most issues. You will want to look into those, as they indicate multiple applications are having issues.

That same section suggests you are using an XBOX controller on your PC. I've found some of these games struggle if the user has a controller plugged in at the same time as mouse/keyboard.

Thanks for all the ideas! I've looked further into these, the unsigned driver isn't an issue, it's just an old driver for an old sound card. As for the XBOX issue, I have removed some obsolete controller drivers I had installed for an XBOX 360 controller, and that error is gone.

Furthermore somewhere in my troubleshooting process I have cut total memory usage from ~95% to ~75% but this has not solved the problem. Next thing I am planning to do is to run a thorough memory test overnight, but I'm not sure if that will help, although by running further reports, it appears a lot of other games I own throw up a RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64 error. I've read that this is fairly common and nothing to worry about, but it still seems a little strange. Another idea I had was to update the BIOS, but I may hold off on that until there's nothing else I can think of.

In my mind a hardware fault seems most likely, since I cannot find anything that was updated or had a new version released in the time the game broke. Thanks again for all of the advice!

While you're looking at BIOS, make sure your memory speed is set to something that your Ryzen 5 3600 supports. The memory I installed can accommodate a higher speed than my CPU supports, so I have to ensure it's set properly in BIOS, less I get some funky behavior.

@DarthFDGNo luck there, unfortunately. The CPU supports 3200 MHz memory speed, and I have the RAM doing 2400 MHz.

Update - PC has bricked, so uh, yeah. Going to take it apart, not sure if it's BIOS or hardware. Issue may well have been something failing internally.

Taking it apart properly may fix it, don't know, but I'll update this reply once I know more

Sorry to hear that.

Hopefully, something just needs to be reinserted. If not, you might try a different power supply. I've seen others have similar problems with a failing PSU.

Fixed the PC, it was a faulty power supply, but stuttering still remains in this game!! Honestly not fussed on fixing it anymore, hoping some new drivers or patch will come out that will fix the issue I've been having. Thanks for all the help.
