Unable to progress

I am located here - searching for Dagan.  Please see the screenshot.

I cannot progress further from this deadlock.  

I have tried every avenue I think.

I even tried killing myself.

But the game never spawns back to a meditation point.

FYI, I do not begin at a meditation point - from selecting 'CONTINUE' from the MAIN MENU.

Can EA or someone please help?
