Having same exact issue right now. Game bought on Steam. What the * is wrong with you EA
- 2 years ago
Running via EPIC Games Launcher.
I click on the icon, it launches EA App and Epic, then tells me I need administrative privileges (even though I ran it as an adminstrator.
It then asks me to sign in with my EA account, showing old Origin login screen. I enter my details and it brings up 'preparing game' for a sec or two, then tells me again I need admin access.
I click ok and it asks me to sign into EA (origin) again.
Brings up EA app. I click on play, it says launching game, then tells me for the 3rd time I need admin priviliges. I click ok.
It asks me to login to EA Origin *again*. I log in, it brings up EA app. I click play.. Admin? Login in again.
I'm officially tired of this.

@KellTranq While there is chance your issue is related, it feels like a different issue. Resolution for yours that I've seen is to uninstall all launchers (and ensure Origin is not still installed), then reinstall starting with Epic.
@EA_Illium bringing to your attention, as you were asking if anyone is still having issues.

Thanks for the response, @DarthFDG.
Epic seems to work fine with all other games, just this one has it in a death spiral.
I'll try uninstalling EA and Epic, rebooting and installing it again. Origin does not seems to be installed on my system, even thought I got the 'activate Jedi Survivor' window coming up with 'open origin.com'.
Here we go..
