normally with uni internet it could be a firewall issue , have you ever played on that network before ?
edit: easiest way to tell is simply tether the computer to a mobile phone and access via the gsm network not via uni wifi and see if the issue is still there

No, I've just got here and was hoping to start playing again.

Yeah it's the uni firewall, I tethered to my phone and it works now.
Any way to work around the firewall so I don't have to use up my data or is it just not possible? - proxos6662 years agoHero+
uni internet administrator would need to open the following ports on their firewall, you would need to ask them
- The TCP ports (and port ranges) you need to open: 80, 8995, 12000-12999 and 20000-30000
