account not working

Hello,

I have played previously SWTOR, and was attempting to log into my old account to apply a subscription to play again due to the new content recently released.  However, when I tried to log in, I was met with some issues, such as not recognizing my email address.  I was able to access my account login by using my display name, but then it told me that the password was incorrect.  I reset the password and then attempted to log in, but everytime I input my credentials and submitted, the login page either refreshed or I was taken back to the homepage, without being logged in.  After a few attempts with the same results, I was then informed that my account had been suspended, and to find out why and/or assistance in resolving this, I'd have to email a particular email address, but when I sent an that email, I was received a message that the email address no longer exists.  I've been trying to work out how to get support, but the only option seems to be by phone.  I have removed all saved credentials from my browser, uninstalled and reinstalled my browser, tried additional browsers and got the same result every time.  If I use the incorrect login credentials, it tells me that the credentials were not correct, yet the page just refreshes stating "Enter Login details to access account," or takes me back to the homepage.  I have reset my password multiple times, and nothing has worked.  I have checked Windows for stored credentials, and wasn't able to find any.  I attempted creating a new account and signing in and it worked immediately, attempted signing out and logging into original account with the same result.  Any ideas?  Thanks.  Also, if anyone knows how to receive email support from EA, that'd be great.

If your account really was banned (you always receive an e-mail about it), you need to e-mail SWTORAccountDisputes @ bioware.com. Keep in mind that it will take a few days to get a response.

If your account was not banned, calling Customer Service by phone is the only option to get help with accessing your account. Phone numbers can be found on this page.

Regarding the page always refreshing: I sometimes have this bug when the language is set to German or French. To check this, go to the front page (http://www.swtor.com) and if you are immediately redirected to the German or French page, click on "EN" in the top left corner to switch to English, then it may work. So try this in case it helps, but you probably have to either contact Account Disputes or call Customer Service.

I appreciate the response.  The fact that I received no further contact from EA/BW about the account becoming suspended led me to believe the same thing, especially with the fact that the message gave me an obsolete email address to contact.  I can confirm the account does work on other devices, so somehow it's something to do with my computer that I haven't worked out yet, as fresh installs of all browsers doesn't seem to have solved anything.  Thanks again.

So after two days of research and troubleshooting, I have learned that they have changed the requirements for a display name and my previous one is no longer valid.  It'd be nice if I could merge the accounts.
