Artifact Authorization bug?

Appreciate the quick reply. I understand that with such a pig patch applied to the game, bugs are prone to appear; that's just the way it is. I am unsure whether it is a major bug or not but it sure makes keeping the gear upgraded a nightmare.

So I've noticed the game received a patch fixing a few issues but the bug I addressed is still occurring. Any ETA for a bug fix regarding this issue?

Unfortunately I am unable to provide the exact name of the items at the moment, since the maintenance is taking place. But I know for sure that the Data Crystals green quality barrels and hilts available on the fleet still require Artifact Authorization. Also some orange quality gear pieces (not all of them but in my case;I was playing a mercenary and all the mercenary-specific gear required Artifact Authorization).

I'm getting a similar bug where artifact gear that I had previously authorized from a past subscription is no longer authorized. Not all of it, but the majority of it.

It appears that since 4.0 launched, all premium quality (green) versatile and resistive barrel and hilt mods in the game are bugged, requiring artifact authorization.

Just a note that this is still an active bug as of today's patch; hilts and barrels from the vendors are still requiring artifact authorization, as are the Trainee pieces requiring an Armor Mod from the level 8 vendor.

As of 11-4-2015 all "green" Barrels and Hilts from Mod Vendors (level 14, 18, 22, etc.) that I have found require Artifact Authorization even though prior to patch 4.0 they did not require Artifact Authorization. No other items on these Mod Vendors require the Artifact Authorization. Mod Vendor locations I checked in the last few days are Republic Fleet, Coruscant, Taris (Rep).

Barrels and Hilts determine Weapon combat Rating. My progress ingame with all my characters is at a standstill until this bug is resolved. Thank you.

Meanwhile, you can buy barrels and hilts off GTN, along with pretty much every other kind of mod. The upside to this is that you might find blue mods that are significantly better than the green ones, but the downside of it is that you have to actually spend credits on those.
