Bough a subscription, but it's not working

I purchased a subscription, which will not activate, from Steam and every avenue on both websites just sends me through endless loops and states the other is responsible. I apparently can't speak to anyone without a subscription, which I have paid for but it is not active. It's probably been 12 hours since my purchase. Total absence of service makes me feel like I've been stolen from.
