I am on Brisbane time. Is there nothing I can do in the mean time? There is no work around for any of these issues? I find it hard to believe there is no way to access my account. Or at least create a new one?
I have flagged the creation issue back to Bioware to say it isn't fixed after they thought they had (link), they will let me know when they have more info on this.
In regards to the old account, the email address is the crux of security for the account, if the swtor account was tied to the origin account you use then updating that email would of updated the swtor account, but I presume they arent linked as I would guess you already updated the origin account email.
Due to account privacy they can only action changes like the email address over the phone.
The one time password you mentioned is a one time use email not just get one time, once you get access back to the account if you put a security key on the account it stops the need for the emails.
Hope this helps

They could possibly be linked, as this is my EA account and it uses the same Email address as my SWTOR account. I will look into changing the email on my EA account, although, it will likely still require "confirmation" of email change via an email to said account. I'll let you know how I go.

Getting help with origin is actually easier to a point
If you have issues updating the email address for your EA/Origin account
You can also try and chat online with a game advisor per this link
https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
I would select along the lines of Origin for game and then account and see if it offers live chat as an option.

The accounts aren't linked, so I can't change the email unfortunately. I am going to try a few more different search engines and such. See if I can't work around the CAPTCHA error.

I've changed the email on my EA to my current email, and tried logging in, but to no avail.
