One-Time Password Is legit nothing and just locks you out

I keep getting a new code everytime I try to log in and each time its not working it says invalid or something else
I have checked to see if I can get on via the website and I can its legit this one time password thing thats implememnted

in this guide they recommend

I'm getting an "Invalid URL" error when I click on the verification link.

Wait 10 minutes and try the same verification link again.

Delete all previous SWTOR email verification messages, send a new one and wait 10 minutes before clicking on the verification link.
