They could possibly be linked, as this is my EA account and it uses the same Email address as my SWTOR account. I will look into changing the email on my EA account, although, it will likely still require "confirmation" of email change via an email to said account. I'll let you know how I go.
Getting help with origin is actually easier to a point
If you have issues updating the email address for your EA/Origin account
You can also try and chat online with a game advisor per this link

I would select along the lines of Origin for game and then account and see if it offers live chat as an option.
The accounts aren't linked, so I can't change the email unfortunately. I am going to try a few more different search engines and such. See if I can't work around the CAPTCHA error.

Swtor support will be able to sort it quickly once verified as the account holder, 1am is getting closer but if it was me I would phone them in the morning.

The Captcha issue is server side and they need to fix it unfortunately
I'll stay awake to call them, I can imagine how big the updates will be for me, due to not playing for quite some time. Would like to get them started before I go to bed, and being Aussie, I am sure you understand the pain of our download speeds. Even on fibre optic.. Haha. I can understand the frustration , it is the first time I have seen this captcha issue and hopefully the last.
I am lucky though with downlaod speeds I am on 100/40 fibre here and get 11MB/s downloads on the swtor stuff updates usually.
Game is up around 35GB now by memory so it can take a bit.

My download speeds fluctuate a bit, it bounces between 5-12mb/s on most downloads. Although, on my xbox, I generally download around 30-40mb/s. So that's good. Haha! Thank you greatly. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out.
I won't need to download the entire game, fortunately.. Only the updates since I last played, which was a while ago. But I think it should be less than 10GB. Hopefully.
