Can't launch SWTOR on WIN11

In the program files for the game, can you attach a copy of the launcher logs when you attempt to launch the game?

try the latest nvidia driver https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/181095/ 

dxdiag is just showing steam crashing at present

I've reverted to WIn10, where the game works just fine.

I've tested other games and some had the exact same behaviour, so the issue lies within the operating system itself. Just some games launch and some don't.

I've been in contact with EA support via mail and they've received my launcher logs so they can work on the issue.

I have a new computer that came with Win11 and can’t get SWTOR’s launcher to load. All of my other games work done. Anyone got this working with Win 11?

I will post the Reddit thread that has an unofficial fix. I don’t have the link on my mobile at the moment but I know the wrapper works. I actually resubscribed to swtor so I could post in the forum.  

My Specs are 8th Gen I7, Nvidia 1050 TI and Windows 11 Pro

Starting the program would launch but never appear on the screen but it was running in Task Manager the only option here was to end task.

I tried all the offered trouble shooting steps including:

 Compatability mode

Upgrading Nvidia drivers

re-installing direct x

I could not try the repair option as the launcher dialog box never appeared on the screen.

What finally did work, and yes I know this is drastic because you lose all your Interface settings.

I manually deleted all of the contents out of the installation directory then downloaded and re-installed the game. 

After the game finished installing I could again play the game without issue.  I hope this helps at least some of you.

I launched the game after a 7 year hiatus and had the same issue. figured it was graphics related so went into %localappdata%/swtor/swtor   and changed my clientsettings.ini file 

from

D3DFullScreen =true

to

D3DFullScreen =false

Launched with no trouble then.    Not sure if this has been tried or not but worked for me. Hopefully it will work for some of you.

this worked for me.
But i had also edit the resolution in this file to my native ones, because they where to big.
