Solved

Can't progress first mission as Imperial Agent, holoterminal bugs.

Hi,

I just started a new Imperial Agent playthrough in SWTOR, but I the game is stuck on the first mission objective. It says "Claim your new identity" but whenever I press the holoterminal, the intro cutscene plays again. This makes it impossible for me to even start the first quest, as I cannot complete my current objective. What can I do to fix this?

My player ID is Gabrulium and the characters name is Malheed.

Grateful for any help

/Gabriel

    So I followed the steps, but it did not solve the problem at first. However, I tried creating a new IA instead (since I hadn't gotten far anyway), and now it seems to work. I also noticed that the game generally runs smoother now, perhaps removing BitRaider helped with that too.

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Hmm, at 3:45 the quest says, "Use the holoterminal". I reach this stage, but when I activate the holoterminal, the intro cutscene plays again, and when it is done, my quest still tells me to use the holoterminal. I don't get the next step, to go to that hut, my only quest pointer is to the holoterminal, which upon use plays the cutscene and then I am back in the same situation again.

    @ratmeet

    Which server is this on ? just want to quickly create an agent and go there and check first it isnt an issue with the server.

    Whicle i do that run a repair , close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,

    select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder.
    Then start the launcher

    @ratmeet

    As soon as I finished the intro it went to Speak to Jheeg, so we can work from here

    Edit - let me know if the repair doesn't help
