Can't Start Shadow of Revan Storyline

Hello! I'm having trouble starting the Shadow of Revan expansion in SWTOR. I entered the code REVANSFATE on swtor.com but didn't log out afterward and went straight to playing the game and couldn't start it. I tried going to my missions terminal in my ship and I couldn't click on it (it wasn't glowing purple and it didn't have the purple triangle). I thought I had to complete Rise of the Hutt Cartel first and I did. Still couldn't start it from my ship. I went to Carrick Station cause I remembered seeing a droid there that if you talked to started the Shadow of Revan Prelude. I wasn't able to talk to the droid either.

I was told I had to log out first so I went back to the site, logged in, tried to redeem the code again just in case it didn't work the first time (apparently it did cause it said I had already redeemed the code) and logged out. That all happened last night. Tonight, when I went back on to try and start it, the same thing happened. I couldn't click on my missions terminal in my ship and I couldn't speak to the droid. When I logged in tonight, it said that I was in this Interlude after finishing the Rise of the Hutt Cartel storyline. I thought "maybe there's something else I have to complete before I can start Shadow of Revan". I saw the only story mission available for me on Carrick Station was the Tarel V flashpoint so I started that, though I have no idea if that is what comes after Rise of the Hutt Cartel. I thought it went Rise then Revan. I also don't know if I even need to complete any of the other story missions/flashpoints that may have occurred between the expansions. So, I don't know what else to do.

In case you need to know, my character is a level 70 Jedi Sentinal. I am not a subscriber. I'm preferred. This is the only character I have that I did the "start at level 60" thing with when Knights of the Fallen Empire first came out. I don't know if any of that info affects my problem in any way. Just thought I'd keep it in just in case it does.
