The issue on your account has been elevated to the studio for investigation
if you link your swtor account to a steam account , and login on a character fully via steam to complete the account link, then buying a subscription through steam will work whilst they look at the issue on your account
how do you link it to steam ??
install the game through steam and then login and load a character ingame fully then exit that will be enough to ensure the accounts are linked
