Forum Discussion
Hi,
Experiencing the same problems as most people - unable to subscribe due to error with my EA account.
I have read through all the posts and suggested fixes (which includes resetting my EA password etc).
Unfortunately some years ago I transferred my EA account from "Email A" to "Email B" (Email B is the one I'm on now).
SWTOR is linked to Email A - which no longer exists. Your suggestion was to call the SWTOR help. Their support lines do not include any information for AUS players and my attempts to call that number isn't working. Is there legitimately no other way to contact EA support other than calling a dam USA number during their operating hours!??? This should be such a simple fix...
My SWTOR name is Wizzdum. Thanks
you will need to raise a ticket at https://help.ea.com/uk/contact-us/
it appears you had an EA account merger in the past , and the linked EA account (has the persona wissdom87) is deactivated , you need to get that EA account activated again to restore purchasing for that swtor account.
when you raise the ticket best to raise as origin as the program (not swtor) as this is an EA account issue not a swtor account issue
although if that swtor account has an inaccessible email address , you can call swtor support to change the email used however that swtor account still cannot purchase a sub until the EA account wissdom87 is reactivated.

Hey mate,
I don't know how you do the things you do but thanks so much for the reply and advice.
Currently following your helpful link and direction and am in the middle of resolving this now.
Cheers, all the best.

EDIT: As is the case for some others, was maintenance 🙂

Hi,
I am having the same issue as most people here as well. "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance."
SWTOR Username: Onefinalhope
I reset the password on the email linked to the account and that did not work.
EDIT: Fixed. It was the maintenance.

Support can see your subscribed now , glad to hear you are good

Support said your payment provider was declining the transactions , then you tried to often and got locked out in the system
they suggested talking to your payment provider first and then you may need to call them

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona makunos (not KroY_UA) that EA account uses a mail.ru email
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

Just to confirm the linked EA / Origin account that has the persona fset5er is compromised (it is not the EA account your posting on presently)
i have been told you have been asked to contact EA support
suggest using https://help.ea.com/uk/contact-us/ then select origin and then PC then manage account and then suspended or banned account
- 4 years ago@proxos666 thx, I am trying to work it out but now I am having an issue where every time i try to use the method you told me after I click Manage account, it redirects me to a help search page before I can hit the Banned or Suspended account button.
