Try this
Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time
Copy the following in to the text box and press ok
%localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings
in this location will be files called HE1234 Character Name PlayerGUIstate
find the one for the affected character and delete it , then start the game and see if it persists

Thx on help but it dosen`t work. Problem come after 5.0 update

I have not seen any other reports about loss of chat function with 5.0 so far, will keep an eye out though
double check you deleted the guistate for that character just to be sure
also go into the GUIProfiles folder and delete the xml file for that character (this is the UI profile)
can also run a file vewrification per below
Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner.If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. are you a subscriber or a free to play player?
also: did you by any chance change the keybinding to your chat? Try resetting your settings and see if that helps.
Also some more info might be nice,. can you type in chat and it just doesnt send?
or cant you even open the chat to type?

I instal game again and i can type, but i can`t send. I am free to play and before new update 5.0 i will work normaly. On other caracters i have it work normaly.
