Color Crystals Now Require Artifact Equipment Authorization

Is this intended?  I'm currently on a preferred account, and the pink/magenta crystals I unlocked in collections are no longer authorized because I don't have artifact equipment authorization.  Prior...

No word yet on if it's intended. I've seen reports of lots of random and inconsistent items now requiring this authorization. May just be a bug.
