I hope this is indeed a bug. I paid hundreds of thousands of credits for some mint green lightsaber crystals, and eventually spent cartel coins to unlock them in collections. My Jedi Shadow, as well as my other characters' companions Ashara Zavros and Kira Carsen, all use the mint green crystal because I can't stand the ugly yellow tinge of the standard green crystal. I paid real money for the Shadow of Revan expansion. At the time, all level 51+ gear and mods were unlocked (except for the companion armor rewards for doing the Yavin weekly). As for 4.0, that is not the case, because my Devoted Allies weapons can no longer be equipped by companions. To make matters worse, all weapon vendors seem to have been removed from the game, leaving only the GTN and its expensive prices as a means to purchase weapons. I was planning to take my Sith Inquisitor through Knights of the Fallen Empire eventually, but now I don't want to do that, because I used to equip Ashara with one blue lightsaber and one mint green lightsaber.
I am a preferred status player.
It looks like that much of the violett Cartel Market Equipment is now only available with Artifact Authorization (since the Patch...). It doesn't matter if it is a Crystal, Armor, Weapons, or something else. One of my Jedi is wearing the "Robe des Reisenden", with no violett Equipment, but the Armor itself says: Artifact Authorization required. By the way: all my Characters are using violet Crystals in their Light Sabers, Blasters, Shield-Generators and so on. None of them is actually on full Power and Strength. Are the violet Color Packs still working? Status "Prefered Player". Thanks for Info.
PS: heard from a Friend, that he bought Artifact Authorization on the Cartel Market. But the Equipment is still not usable. Sorry, but I can't verify this. And I will not try. It would not be funny to spend 1200 Cartel Coins for nothing, if it's true...
