Color Crystals Now Require Artifact Equipment Authorization

The barrels and hilts on Mod Vendors are still Artifact Authorization... I too would like an answer... will these items be addressed Officially? Please do not leave us hanging, I hardly play at all now because of this.

Oh and this: EA's live Technical chat advertized on a yellow banner above does not work. Leads to a webpage deadend. I tried it... hoping ...

Same exact issue here. Previous artifact gear that should be authorized is not.

Are they going to fix the barrels and hilts (and Yavin implants)?

I haven't played now since this god awful patch - I've only logged in here to monitor responses. Doesn't appear that this issue will be addressed. Consider yourself lucky EA/Bioware that you managed to get me for $40 in updates while you could, because you'll never see me again (at least until this massive screw up is fixed). So utterly disappointing from great names in the industry. Don't think George Lucas would have let this go on so long without acknowledgement or resolution. Guess that's what happens when you sell out to a frozen head.

In my case, at least, it was addressed.  My color crystals work perfectly fine.  As for other items requiring artifact authorization, it would seem there's more than one issue.  It is being investigated.

having the same problem but with the modification for the hilts and barrels needing authorization, i really hope this a a bug, and not just EA scrapping the bottom of the barrel to milk all the money they can from their users 

I'm having the same problem after update 4.0.1a. I can't use color crystals that I got from the cartel market. In the update notes they said it was fixed. Guess not.

I just noticed a brand new problem today!  I can no longer claim my crystals from collections!  Well, it's a bit more complicated than that.  It seems that the characters who already had a mint green crystal in their inventory before the patch are fine, but all of my other characters get the message "You are unable to reclaim this," etc.  I already purchased the account-wide collections unlock for this crystal a long time ago.  It's on my ledger!

@b_took Yes we shall see if they fix this bug on Tuesday. I haven't played in over a week now because of this.
