No spikes at all when getting disconnected. I don't have a wireless card to test tethering to my phone.
Not sure what phone you have, but i can tether my iphone with a usb cable and setup as a hotspot, and select it instead of my network adapter which i disable to be 100% certain.

Just realized I could do that after typing the last message. I am not being disconnected on tether. Do you know any causes I could have my ISP look into to figure out why I am getting disconnected? Nothing else seems to be affected but swtor.

Well at least you know the system itself isnt causing it (unless it is the network adapter), from there it leaves the modem/router you are hardwire connected too or something on the ISP side of the internet.
There is this guide that details the ports needed, is there a firewall on the modem for example ?, if something is killing the port connection you will disconnect and nothing will show on a pingplot,.

The ports are definitely not open because I have no control over them. That said they aren't open on my tethered connection either. Firewall has exceptions for launcher and swtor.exe and did the same thing when entirely disabled.
