crashing when hovering on map icons
When I mouse over a quest name or map icon which indicates an area on the map/mini-map, the client freezes for a second then crashes to the desktop. This is a recent/new installation on a new Surface Pro 4 (i5) running the latest Windows 10. Everything else seems to work fine.
This is occurring regardless of game resolution or graphics quality (I have tried 800 x 600 at very low quality). I have removed the Bitraider directory and allowed the launcher to re-verify. I cannot currently get the game to open when set to fullscreen (windowed) so I have only been able to test this in fullscreen and windowed. It occurs in both of those modes.
What else can I try to fix this?
Just updating this thread to point to the known issues sticky here for this issue to enable checking on further updates.
Best workaround is to try using the driver rollback feature in windows initially for the Intel Video Driver
if that doesn't solve it , install a Intel video driver prior to Sep 15 , and install this direct x redist detailed in the known issues sticky.
