Dear Bioware can you please do a better job with customer service?

Recently I've had issues with the game Star Wars The Old Republic. On one specific server I was missing a title, at first one customer service representative gave said title to a toon from the wrong server. The second removed it altogether and claimed that the title in question 'Imperial Scholar' had been removed after the beta. That was not true at all, I played ever since the game first came out the title was ALWAYS there until knights of the fallen came along. It's not a difficult thing to ask that the title be given after doing the heroic UNLESS the customer service representatives do not either (A) actually establish dialogue with the players or 🍺 just ignore and patronize.

    If you are having issues with the cs via phone or ticket, I would recommend contacting customer service via phone and ask to speak to a supervisor or request one via the ticket system. As per BW here

    If you feel you have been mistreated, or you have an issue with a Customer Support Rep you have two options:

    • Call Customer Support and request to speak with a supervisor
    • You may reach out to the community team with details: communitysupport@swtor.com.

    Been having issues with customer service tickets repeatedly...the last customer service rep I spoke with patronized me flat out.

    If its the same customer service agent or a group of them, note their avatar or in-game names.  Then you can email that information to the email above or call and speak with a supervisor about this.  This would help them with whatever they do to handle it.

    Will that work? Because one of them gave me a big spiel about how the title had been removed since beta which wasn't true then patronized and suggested I could be violating the tos for cursing even though it's third time I've brought the issue up and still no helpful response at all.

    As far as getting the title I can't guarantee that, you would have to go through the channels.  What I was suggesting is you can bring up to a sup or via email how you were treated if they treated your poorly.  Whether that will get the title granted to speak to a sup or email I can't say.

    I did some searching on the forums at swtor.com, from what several threads that talk about it.  The Oldest one being here with the first post from 12/17/2011 so it may have been removed in beta not sure.  Other threads mention it being removed since 4.0 came out so not sure on that either.

    The title was there before 4.0 after that it was removed no attempt at fixing no nothing. You have to ask for a person to give it back and even then that's iffy. As someone who was there since the beginning of the game Imperial scholar was a title that helped complete the codex entry. I got it on countless toons before the pushy new system that was forced onto everyone. So I can personally attest to it despite what the second rep claimed being there physically in the game before the 4.0 patch

    There are more threads about how it was available until 4.0 so I would assume that is the case that it was there until 4.0 came out.  Early this morning I checked my Juggernaut and he has the title even though I leveled him during the 3.2 - 3.4 patch times so I would agree with you on that. In any case all I can recommend is to keep trying, even ask for a sup in your ticket or call.
