Deleted characters...by EA?

After not playing the game for 4-5 years (the last time I played this game was in late 2020) because of having a terrible PC that can barely run the game, I decided to come back after getting a new one. But, after I logged in the same account that I use, my characters are gone. I checked all the server regions, and I found nothing. I'm not sure what happened but I'm definitely sure I DID NOT MANUALLY DELETE MY CHARACTERS after I went offline for several years. I am asking for help if I can possibly reobtain them, because I don't feel like starting all over.
