Forced Character rename issue

Looking for some help, one of my old characters that I recently re-activated has a forced rename on it. I go to rename him and no matter what I put it says Name unavailable, please choose another. I tried the following random strings, all gave the same message:

Also tried "just adding an s" to the end of the existing name which an EA rep said they did for another user who had this issue, same message.

Wondering what I should try next or if an EA rep can change the name of the character for me.
