Forgot Email
Hey everyone.
I started playing this game when it first came out and I haven't played in a few years. I am interested in at least logging back in and playing for a little while but I cannot remember any old email accounts that I had, and I cannot remember my display name. I know we can call customer service to sort this out, but is there any other way to do it, perhaps through my old Security Key that I still have? I don't want to make a new account and lose all that I had from the old one.
If the game is still installed on the same computer you can navigate to here:
C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings
Make sure your folders are set to show hidden folders. Look for a file that says "_Account.ini" in the name and just before it will be your Display Name.
You can then try to login with the pass you may have used and then once logged in chnagc the email on file.
If this does not work or you cannot locate the file, you will need to call Customer Service as per here for further assistance. The link provided has their contact info and hours of operation.
