Game doesn't update

Not sure if anyone else has this problem or if it's just my computer. 

Before I can play the game it always does it's usual thing of checking for any updates and patches but it doesn't do anything of that, it just gives me this message saying that "This application has encountered an unspecified error. Please try this patch again." I tried to restart the launcher, later my computer, and now have tried to reinstal the game but I still have the same problem. I recently installed a new mmo on my pc and that's when this problem started so I'm not sure if that might have something to do with it but when I removed the game SWTOR still wouldn't work.
