Game not starting at all

This is 6th day of debugging and loading, reloading swtor. Still will not run the game after patching and verification of client is done, just 2 to 3 s of activity on a mouse cursor, and that is it. The game did work on this pc before win 8.1. At this point the subsciption is not worth it for me anymore.

Tried whole lot of things, now running  on fresh ts install of the game, clean boot, all exceptions made, using only win defender and win firewall. The game still has not made the app data forder.

Disk is fine, memtest also did fine. did the client repair with download, bitraider deleting.... am running the whole thing in win 7 compatibility mode and as admin. The nvidia drivers; tried several so far, updated to the latest, same for the windows itself.

This has been totally dissapointing so far.

Did try to resolve all (most) of the log issues - as suggested,  conclusion is that the win 8 is, well a peace of s***.

Solution was a clean in install of win 10. It must be a clean install, and let the win 10 do the updating, especially the graphic card drivers. All I did after that was copying the game file, loggin in and pressing play.

Initially ensure the game shortcut is running as administrator , and ensure launcher.exe and swtor.exe are in all the antivirus and firewall exception lists

    Problem signature:

    P1: swtor.exe

    P2: 1.0.0.0

    P3: 57eeba85

    P4: ntdll.dll

    P5: 6.3.9600.18233

    P6: 56bb4e1d

    P7: c000007b

    P8: 0009d3c2

    P9:

    P10:

Given the error above, I would be looking at Microsoft Visual C++, Direct X and .NET Framework as possible issue

So latest C++ is at this link  i would start at 2010 and work up to 2015

    Install this directx redist link

Ensure there are no overlays trying to inject into the game on startup
