sfc /scannow found no issues.
Made a separate windows account. Game wouldn't run on that.
Enabled the admin account from cmd. Game wouldn't run.
It may be best to try an inplace repair per step No 7 here , if you do this, ensure you select "Keep personal files and apps"
Given the issues with the icons cache there maybe something else going on as well, and this is the easiest way to check.
I did the repair installation for windows. SWTOR still won't open.

Do you want the speccy text file version? Max I can PM you is 60k characters, and the file is way bigger than that? I don't think I can add the file as an attachment. I can e-mail it to you if you like.
