Game won't open when I click on icon after launch.

I start the game up as usual and after I press play on the launcher, it gives me a black screen and it seems that I have crashed but it says that I am playing yet, I'm not. Could somebody help me thi...

    @Lemondata

    When you start the game and its in the task bar push the ALT + Enter keys see if that has any affect

First thing look in the Task manager if some swtor related processes are still running (swtor.exe, launcher.exe, bitraider.exe) if so abort them.
