    If he has not logged into that chsrchara in 6 months guild leadership would have transferred to someone else already as it does afwra about 4 weeks.

    You can try either submitting an in-game ticket for investigation or email support@swtor.com if you suspect an actual bug.  Those would be the only other avenues for investigation if there is an issue.

I have a similar problem.
in my guild (free player guild) i've been the only one who keeps playing for the last 7-12! years.
when the servers was merged, our guild leader was also lost - guild without a leader, only inactive officers!!!!
I've now subscribed again and wanted to contact customer service ingame and only received a shameful reply from an AI that nothing can be done.
is it really the case that a guild is lost just because the only active player is not an ofizier?
