Hooked up a new monitor, being the ASUS XG438Q. I have HDR enabled in the Windows 10 display settings, and when I go back into SWTOR from being minimised, it stays on for a few seconds then reverts back to non-HDR.
Can anyone perhaps tell me why?
Running the game on a GTX 1080.
New PC with RTX 2080 Super coming next week 😁
Might be better to post in the nvidia forums, it will either be a driver or windows issue given the driver is reloading when you re-enter fullscreen mode.

I went to the link and tried their fix by customising the screen size but no luck. When I loaded into the game, it reset itself.
It's weird; in the main menu/character selection, no dramas. It stays on. It's when I load into the game that the screen goes black and resets to non-HDR. I alt-tab, HDR is back on. Go back into SWTOR, it stays for a few seconds then blacks out back to non-HDR.

I would definitely ask in the nvidia forum, if your using the latest driver version 441.41 maybe ask in its feedback thread initially at this link

Apparently it's because SWTOR doesn't support HDR.
It'll only work in windowed mode; not fullscreen.
