are you saying you have called swtor support and they wouldnt update the email on that account ?
I'm saying yes I called SWTOR support and the email they have is the email on my current EA account, but apparently my game must be linked to a different EA account of which I have no information on since it has been many years since I set up the account. I already had an EA account from playing Sims when I set up swtor, but they apparently created a new one. I have since changed info on my SWTOR account so I have no idea what it was when I first started. I have also contacted EA support, but all they keep looking at is the current EA account I use and tell me everything is fine.

I have flagged with support to review the records of the phone call to see what occurred
will let you know in about 7 - 8 hrs when swtor support are online for the day

Ok think i got to the bottom of this
The Linked EA / Origin account is the one your posting on and uses the same gmail as on your swtor account
Now there is an issue with the linkage and that has been sent to studio for fixing ( there is no timeframe ) they will email when fixed
Support said your subscribed now too , subscribing via steam should work ok now the accounts are linked correctly

Thank you. I appreciate the help. I will not be using steam and my computer did not like it, which is why I was trying to get the link between EA and SWTOR fixed.
