Issues with SecKey "Sorry we couldn't find your serial number. Try Again ?"

I am having issues with putting a new security key on my account. 

I was able to remove the old one. Install the new app from Google and put on my serial code to it. But the issue is that the website gave me a

"Sorry we couldn't find your serial number. Try Again ?" error when I tried to put in the authenticator code. Is there any fix for this situation? I tried logging into the game it doesn't ask for my authenticator so I am presuming the set up failed due to the error.

    Make sure you have the latest version of the security key app, if unsure delete the one you have and download again, other then that ensure the time on the device is correct.

    Already done all of those no effect on situation.

    That guide was followed.Helps like these are the first things I try.

    The error stated occurred after the serial was in app. And when i put in the reply code on the key into website. 

    This was mentioned in original post.

    My origjinal one was the google authenticator. I'll look into it

    Seems that the google authenticator one worked while the swtor authenticator app didn't.
